Antica Fratta

Antica Fratta embarks on a new chapter with bold ambitions—to embody the very essence of Franciacorta. The cellar, located in Monticelli Brusati, has inspired admiration since the mid-19th century. In the late 1800s, Cav. Luigi Rossetti, a wealthy local merchant, transformed a 16th-century farmhouse into his elegant residence and the base of his wine business. To support this vision, he built stunning cellars by carving into the living rock of the hillside behind the villa. Since 1979, Antica Fratta has been working tirelessly to obtain timeless Franciacorta wines which best represent their terrain and each plot’s distinct characteristics.
