Immersed in winemaking from a young age, Romain honed his craft through an apprenticeship at the renowned Chevrot estate. Wine runs deep in his blood—his family has been in the business since the 1800s, passing down their know-how from generation to generation. At just 23, Romain made the bold decision to take over the family estate, Bourgogne Moniot, stepping into his role as the 6th generation of winemakers. With tradition as his foundation and a fresh perspective, Romain continues to build on a legacy more than a century in the making.
