Gaetano Rubinelli was the patriarch of a family rooted in Valpolicella for generations. After designing and building the Chievo Dam on the River Adige, which introduced electricity to Veronese industries at the start of the 20th century, he purchased this charming estate, captivated by its setting in the heart of Valpolicella. Years later, the Rubinelli family realized a long-held dream: to produce their own wine and express the finesse and excellence of their land. With an ideal combination of soil, sun, climate, and the gentle breeze of the Conca del Vajol, the estate provides perfect conditions for growing and ripening high-quality grapes, the essence of their winemaking philosophy.
