The Loacker family is one of the bio-pioneers in Italy with over 40 years’ experience with biodynamic farming. Building on sustainable, biodynamic practices started in the late 1970s. head winemaker, Hayo Loacker, graduated from University of Dijon and promptly started identifying individual vineyards sites into single ‘crus’. The goal is to craft wines that have a full, authentic expression of each terroir with low yields and fermentation starting with indigenous yeasts from each site.
