Poiema Wines

First planted by Franciscans of Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa in the 1800s, original documents show the quality of the wine from this region was highly valued and often traded to other missions. The fruit for Poiema comes from cool coastal vineyards in Sonoma. The ‘Poiema’ painting was done by artist, James Caprell. The winemaker, Philippe Langer, started his career in France before settling in the Atlas Peak appellation of Napa Valley.
