Alluring aromas of ripe Morello cherry, balsamic, raisins, chocolate covered espresso beans, hazelnut and spices. Concentrated and silky flavors of cherry, raspberry jam, raisin, and prunes enveloped in black pepper, dark chocolate, licorice and warm spices that lead to a long, lingering finish. Grape: 60% Corvina/Corvinone, 20% Rondinella, 20% Molinara/Croatina/Pelara. Aged for 5 years in large barrels, and another 1 year in bottle before release.
