Vibrant aromas of gooseberry, grapefruit and citrus are followed by bright flavors of Meyer lemon, lime zest, pink grapefruit and quince. The long finish has racy acidity and flinty mineral notes. Aged 6-8 months in stainless steel. This is crisp wine is to be consumed relatively young, although its freshness and aromas will evolve over 4 or 5 years. The Sancerre Blanc is popular as aperitif, but matches also very well with delicate dishes of seafood, fish and strong cheeses.
